When I first started this blog, the objective is to get my students involved in some form of reading and writing in English. I didn't want you all to do too structured a writing -- then it becomes assignment-like ---and that would be a big turn-off . I just want you to get involved --throw out the academics ! Let you all feel your way around .
After one and a half years of this , there are many of you who are not afraid to write in English.anymore. Forget the errors--- just get to know the language. That is why I refer to you all as the community members (not students !)
There are members who have graduated and already working , yet still contributing and participating in the comments and rebuttals that I have tried to provoke. And I would like to give a special mention to helas ! he has improved so much in his writings, he got to know the present students , in fact he knows them very well ---just through this blog. I'm really proud of you helas !In fact if you are in my class again, I'd give you four stars . * * * * ...heheheh
Then there are others, like sicko, aying, iriss, dyon, alex,tiang86, sheila, lee, atie, memeng, anys, expressidiriku, Zar (graduated), colours of my, life (graduated), otak-ku (graduated), welcometocombatzone, faez, Mr Aztech, hariraman, helas (graduated), hazalee and many others. There are others and I apologize if I miss out your name !My hope is that you continue blogging . Believe you me, I DO visit your blogs and never fail to give comments .

Is it by coincidence that the biggest and only problem/trouble that I had since teaching in the CCSP programmes come from the CBDS classes ! To be precise, Batch 4-7 and Batch 8-9.
I don't hate the students . There are students from CBDS where I have good relationship just like students from CCSS, CCNS and CDDS. Students like Siti , Rosli, Rubinor and many others. To be even more precise -- actual numbers of students that had problem with me are 4 from Batch 4-7 for not completing their project reports and two from Batch 8-9 when one of then was caught copying and the other defended blindly -- and even then it had nothing to do with me. WHATEVER PROBLEMS THEY HAD--IT WAS ACTUALLY BETWEEN THEM AND THE INVIGILATOR AND THE MANAGEMENT. They think I had the power to forgive them for copying and got angry when I din't--which actually wouldn't make any difference to the case. The fact is, they slandered me and there was also a case of possible libel. But , I wouldn't waste my time and energy on such insignificance ignoramus and stain my happy life !
No, I don't 'hate' CBDS students. To me they are all students. ITS THEIR ATTITUDE THAT MAKES THEM DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHERS !!
But I cut out these bad apples from informal relationship and even then after all that I had no problem nor any grudge with Chelsea, Bisyrul or Arif. I can still stop for a chat with them . They do not have malicious intent as in the other case.

Your class is something else. Eng 111 and ENG 211 were fun to teach. Thats because your class responded, participated and never gave me serious problems in terms of personality and work.
I did enjoy teaching you all -- with you, sheila, hashim, amar ---of course I did !!

sir.. i have read this post about 3 times just know... i cannot describe how i feel after read this post... what i can say here, i'm also proud to be one of your student.. Thank you so much coz bring me into this community 1.5 years ago.. even at first, i also dont know what to write inside my blog.. what i know that time is.. go to people post.. and "cari gaduh"..
after complete English...only 1 thing i keep until now..that is. "Never be a Stranger"... plus here i dont have anybody.. all family are far away from me... only in this community its like happening place for me... Can share anything here.. all are open minded plus all ROCKS!!.. as them said "Sharing is caring" right....
i didnt realize also my english has improve.. i spot that 3 things that make me improve my english writing even "Tunggang langgang".. For sure Blog.. i've try my best create a good post using simple english word.. then read people post.. and take notes what new word i found in the post.. then try to used it.. next is SMS.. i also use English in my sms.. and last is Email.. Also use english sending and replying email with friend.... before thiss, never use english in SMS and Email.and also YM...Thanks to "O".. i think u can get it right :)..
and i really miss ur class..where that time i cannot ..forget the moment inside ur class sir.. almost every time, i will be the first person to present.. hehe.. and i just do my best.. even i couldnt do it perfect as others student, but already try my best.. being laugh with classmate, haiz miss that time alot.. got 4star is very2 high already.. coz i think even 1 star also i'm not qualify to get it that much... hehe
for the community.. i wish i could design all of u the logo and put it on your blog... but the soft copy gone already.. so will try to create again next time.. Keep on Blogging guys....

hmmm i had never thought i can write anything well in English... i think i was just started with a simple story and now whooaaaa i can share everything and write it down fully in English... but there's no wonder since i get the encouragement from you... :)
