Sunnyside

Love the 'floating' effect of the sun.

I love this one. f8 and 1/250. ISO 100

1/160 F6.3

Lack of depth of field---everything's sharp from the foreground to the horizon.

a bit better with the blurred foreground.

I like this. F 6.3 1/125

Really gives that early morning coolness - just before sunrise.

So. Sunday morning. 5.00am. I was already up and by about 6.00 am. I was on the way to Genting. Still wasn't sure what the day was going to be. It turn out to be a clear cold morning---no mist, no clouds....the very stuff I was looking for- and they're not there. Anyway I soon found a good spot to watch the first sign of sunrise........Took my time and used the manual settings for the shots and here are some of them..

I cannot describe the feeling of seeing all that . I mean , its not the first time that the sun rises---but to go there and to be there with the purpose of watching and photographing it..... Yes--- you wonder at the beauty of nature. To think that this happens everyday---and we take it for granted that it would always be there!

Iriss
Nope/ Its Genting proper. Somewhere near the bus terminal where they have a small garden to enjoy the view.

...and there'll be more trips there by the looks of it. ....the sun-set, the mist, the forests, the night-scenes .....etc.

...then trips further away .... I guess only my will is the limit !
